Stalone

Context

Independent professionals (beauty, coaching, tattoo, therapy, service trades…) need a reliable online booking tool that doesn't take a cut of every transaction. Stalone is a true two-sided, general-purpose, commission-free marketplace: deposits go 100% to the professional via Stripe Connect, and the platform earns revenue from monthly subscriptions only.

What I built

• Multi-tenant architecture from V1 (Next.js 16 on Cloudflare Workers, D1 + Drizzle database), designed to later plug in custom-domain storefronts via Cloudflare for SaaS.
• Slot engine computing availability from opening hours, time off and existing appointments, sliced by the cumulative duration of a multi-service booking.
• Payment model requiring no money-institution licence: deposits collected directly on the professional's connected account (Stripe Connect) and recurring subscriptions (Stripe Billing) — funds never transit through the platform.
